The Hardest Part to Understand About God

Knowing how much God hates sin, I frequently ask myself “Does God really (still) love me?”.

And the answer is yes!

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
– Psalm 30:5 (NKJV)

God does love me, and He has forgiven me of all my sins.

For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more.
– Hebrews 8:12 (NKJV)

Here are some Bible verses that confirm God’s Love for us.

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
– John 3:16 (NKJV)

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
– Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)

My sheep hear My voice, and I know them, and they follow Me. And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand.
– John 10:27-28 (NKJV)

God’s Great Love for us is beyond understanding.

Thank you Father. 🙂

Without Love We Are Nothing

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I have become sounding brass or a clanging cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. And though I bestow all my goods to feed the poor, and though I give my body to be burned, but have not love, it profits me nothing.

Love suffers long and is kind; love does not envy; love does not parade itself, is not puffed up; does not behave rudely, does not seek its own, is not provoked, thinks no evil; does not rejoice in iniquity, but rejoices in the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.

Love never fails. But whether there are prophecies, they will fail; whether there are tongues, they will cease; whether there is knowledge, it will vanish away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part. But when that which is perfect has come, then that which is in part will be done away.

When I was a child, I spoke as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. For now we see in a mirror, dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part, but then I shall know just as I also am known.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.

– 1 Corinthians 13 (NKJV)

Preaching the Gospel

Preaching the gospel is nothing more than introducing Jesus to people.

God will do all the work from there on.

I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.
– 1 Corinthians 3:6-9 (NIV)

Walk in love.

And That’s How Much God Loves Us

For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
– Romans 8:38-39 (NKJV)

🙂

And I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; neither shall anyone snatch them out of My hand. My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand. I and My Father are one.
– John 10:28-30 (NKJV)

It’s That Simple

That if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
– Romans 10:9 (NKJV)

And it shall come to pass that whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved.
– Acts 2:21 (NKJV)

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
– John 3:16 (NKJV)

Eternal Life. Think about it.

The Miracle of Life

There are two parts to this:

1) God was formed
2) God, being Love, decided to create life (us)
3) God let’s us call Him Father

God could have easily kept life to Himself, but instead decided to share it with us.

I will be a Father to you, and you shall be My sons and daughters, says the Lord Almighty.
– 2 Corinthians 6:18 (NKJV)

God is Near to Those Who Have a Broken Heart

The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves such as have a contrite spirit.

The Parable of the Lost Sheep

Then all the tax collectors and the sinners drew near to Him to hear Him. And the Pharisees and scribes complained, saying, “This Man receives sinners and eats with them.” So He spoke this parable to them, saying: What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
– Luke 15:1-7

Jesus saved me from a really dark place. He can do the same for you.
